Born 3/13/2008 - BARN NAME "JOEY". Joey is a very nice 3yo gelding that came out from KY in Feb of this year. He has been under saddle for a few months before arriving and has been with my trainer, Bev Frost this past month. Joey is a very pretty chocolate gelding with a snip and a spot of white on his forehead only. He's got some size and is already about 15 hands.....will likely be 15.1 when finished growing. He is by Cocky Dock and of of a Diamond Reo mare. This boy is SO sweet and has that kind eye and temperment. Joey has no vices, trailers beautifully and is current on all healthcare. Joey has been a blast to work with and trail ride this summer. He's been horse camping and leads the older horses past the scary stuff....including helping Ruby to learn to cross water. He has absolutely no holes!! His gait is strong and natural barefoot. This is a once in a life time gelding and if he's not sold soon, he'll be the first gelding I've wanted to keep! So, so sweet and kind.....this gelding is the epitome of the rocky mountain horse......he's done SO much in his first year under saddle! Imagine what he'll be a few years from now!!
2009 RMHA COLT
SILVERADO SANTANA ROE
Santana is now a 2 year old chesnut/flax gelding that is a drop dead gorgeous hunk of a horse!! He not only has near perfect conformation, but a willing attitude and is SO sweet! This gelding is as gaited as they possibly come.......with his excellent bloodlines it is not surprising! He is out of Miss Calli and by the black stallion Toby Roe. Toby Roe has gone to England and this colt was conceived using frozen semen. Toby Roe has excellent temperment, gait and breeding, being sired by Johnson's Toby and out of a Buddy Roe mare. I was disappointed that this is not a keeper filly for me, so Santana is offered for sale to the right home. He will make someone a wonderful trail buddy but is awesomely gaited so could also be shown.

SILVERADO BLACK LACE
Born 2/27/2010 - Barn name "Lacey".
This cute yearling black filly is an absolute dream to be around. She's been easy since birth with haltering, leading, fly mask, worming, vaccinating, you name it! She acts like she's been doing all these new things her whole life! This is one friendly little girl and she will follow people around like a puppy looking for a scratch. Then she'll kick up her heels and show you what a sassy gal she can be! Lacey has very nice compact conformation and a very cute head. She's got great bloodlines such as Choco Dock, Maples Squirrel, Blue Smokin' Sambo, Yankee, Sewell's Sam and Johnson's Toby. DNA and registration has been done on her and she had color DNA done by UC Davis confirming that she is homozygous black. Will make a nice future broodmare and/or trail buddy.
SILVERADO'S BLUE DIAMOND
Born 5/29/2010 - Barn name settled on "Rio".
This is one beautiful colt in conformation, color and temperment!!! Rio is now a gelding and he's one that will make a fantastic trail and/or show horse. He's by the fabulous champion show stallion Diamond Doc and got his daddy's wonderful upright neck. This boy is built to gait and that's about all he does as he shows off around his field with his buddy Lacy. Rio's dam is my palomino Maples Squirrel daughter and he got her creme gene as well as her silver dapple gene....giving him those gorgeous hazel eyes. Rio has the sweetest temperment and loves attention and scratches. His gait is effortless with that natural head set. He's about as perfect as they come!!
SILVERADO RUBY RED SUNDOWN
born 6/4/08 chesnut RHMA filly by Sundown's Chocolate Heir and out of Mocha-Chino. This filly is just adorable and this beautiful deep red color. She has wonderful conformation, a lovely little head with small hooked ears and is just the sweetest little thing in temperment. She calls to everyone that approaches the paddock. Her gait is perfect and even and she is bred with lines of KSC, Nance II, Dock, and Yankee. She MAY be offered for sale at weaning......this is one I may choose to keep. I'm not sure what color this filly will end up! She looked to be a liver chestnut, now she's chestnut with white hairs....only time will tell!
Ruby is a coming 4yo that went under saddle this year and has been certified to breed. She has a sweet temperment but is not a dead head and likes to walk out. She's learning the ropes of the trail.She remains as sweet and easy going as when she was a baby and man, can this mare gait! It will have to be a marvelous home for me to part with this one!

Foaled 5/17/2011 - "Diesel" is another adorable chocolate colt that is out of a new mare to me. I was lucky to recently aquire his dam, Annabelle Roe. Annabelle is by Toby Roe (Johsnon's Toby x Buddy Roe mare) and out of Sara's Hammer. Annabelle Roe can be seen on the Broodmare Page. Diesel's sire is the awesome stallion Hammertime (Buddy Roe x Tim mare). This colt is bred to the hilt and would make a very nice Rocky Mountain stallion (or of course gelding!). Diesel has a cute little blaze face and super nice conformation. He gaits like a dream! DNA was done and he is homozygous black and has 1 copy of the silver dapple gene.
Cute little Diesel Roe is now weaned and progressing well with "school". This colt is sweet and quiet and would make a nice stallion or gelding. He is fondly referred to here as "Rod Stewart" for that crazy white mane!
CD'S CHEVY SILVERADO
Foaled 4/30/2011 - "Chevy" is a big strapping colt out of my sweetie pie Mountain Pleasure/KMSH mare Shadow. Shadow has lines to Black Squirrel and was the first mountain horse I aquired many years ago. She puts gait, temperment and size on her babies! Chevy's sire is the Rocky Mountain many time champion stallion Choco Dock! Choco Dock is legendary and continues to produce outstanding babies.Chevy has a cute head with blaze face and is muscular and well gaited! He's molting out to a dark chocolate. Chevy can be registered Mountain Pleasure and Kentucky Mountain.
Chevy has been an easy going fellow when it comes to halter training. He's the boss man of the 3 little colts, yet the mellowist of them all. But wow.....watch this colt come gaiting in across the field and you will see that champion sire in him!!

Foaled 4/24/2011 - "Jeep" was born on Easter morning!
He's a gorgeous solid buckskin colt. Jeep is out of Ebony (Rockin Dobbin x Buddy Roe mare) and by the lovely stallion Dream Ranger. Dream Ranger is by Choco Dock Jr by Choco Dock and out of a mare with lines to Buddy Roe and Yankeek. Jeep has perfect conformation, a really cute head with the hooked ears and is a little gaiting machine! Jeep can be registered full rocky. He is a promising stud colt prospect and will also make someone a gorgeous and well gaited gelding.
Jeep has been weaned and is progressing with his halter and manners training well. He is so adorable and looking for his new home
