![]() | ANNABELLE ROE 5/5/2007 RMHA MARE - I bred my Callie mare to Toby Roe, hoping for a filly.....instead getting the gorgeous Santana colt. So when the opportunity came along to buy this mare, Annabelle that is ALSO by Toby Roe, I jumped on it!! Annabelle's sire, Toby Roe (pic can be seen next to Santana's pictures) is a stocky gorgeous black stallion with excellent bloodlines, temperment and gait. He's by Johnson's Toby and out of a Buddy Roe mare! Annabelle's dam is called Hammer's Sara by the fantastic stallion Hammertime and out of a Tim mare! Do they get any better bred!!! Annabelle is a gorgeous 14.3 hand chocolate mare with a large star and thin strip. Her conformation is amazing and she is very, very pretty with wonderful big bone and big hard hooves. Her gait is very nice as you can see by this pic of her being ridden in a halter at 8 months of pregnancy! Annabelle is a wonderful addition to my broodmares and in May foaled a stunning chocolate colt that can be seen on the Babies Page. She will be bred next week to El Cid for a 2012 foal! WOW that will be a nice baby!!!.

![]() | MISS CALLI 1996 RMHA/KMSHA palomino mare with old foundation blood lines. Calli was bred by ER Davis in KY and is a big bodied, pretty 14.3 hand palomino mare with a star and snip as her only markings. Every year this mare produces a better and better foal! Calli is a direct daughter of one of the rocky mountain horse association 5 son's of Tobe, called Maples Squirrel. Maples Squirrel was known for his great temperment and gait. Her dam is a Choco Dock mare. Choco Dock is a well known sire of many champions and he himself is a two time international show grandchampion. Callie had a stellar chocolate colt (barn name Rio) in 2010 sired by the champion stallion Diamond Dock. I am so impressed with this colt's conformation, gait and temperment, that she has been bred back to Diamond Dock for an April 2012 foal.

![]() | MOCHA-CHINO 2001 RMHA/MKSHA mare. Mocha is a 14.2 hand black mare with a small star as her only marking. She has a beautiful little short head, a nice short back and is quite stout (and an easy keeper!). Mocha has a nice little ambling gait and the sweetest temperment. She is by Kilburn's Sundown J Boy by Kilburn's Choco Sundown (a son of Tobe) and the Nance II mare....and out of a Choco Dock mare. She is well loved for her kind and gentle temperment and what a good mom she is. Last year she was found to be nursing her filly and another mare's colt at the same time! Her babies have all been amazingly well built and have her nice temperment. Her 2008 filly (by my old stallion Sundown's Heir) "Ruby" is going to become one of my future broodmares. She passed on that wonderful gentle temperment and fabulous gait again! Mocha has been left open and has gone back for a professional under saddle tuneup after having 6 years off. Despite that she was willing & sweet as she gave Bodie a little bareback ride when we dropped her off! She's wowing everyone with her calm temperment and smooth gait. She is one that is going to be fun to trail ride this year! Mocha has been fantastic on the trail and become Bodie's favorite mare.

![]() | STARLIGHT JUBILEE
1995 RMH/KMSH chocolate mare with star, snip and 2 hind socks. "Lucy" (barn name) is a 14.2 hand, super quirky and lovable mare that thinks she's a big puppy. She has been my primary trail mount for the last two years and has a wonderful gait and tons of experience horse camping and trail riding. She is sired by Rocky II, a grandson of Clemon's Tim. Lucy foaled a wonderful chocolate filly in April 2007 that was sired by El Cid. I call her "Chyna Doll" and she is just cute as a bug! She's got her mommy's look at me attitude and is easy as they get in temperment! Although Lucy has produced very nice babies, she has been my "go to horse" for trails and horse camping. She's one that I can put any level or age of rider on for trail rides...so she's been left open at this time.

NIGHT SHADOW
1996 MPHA/KMSHA mare. Solid true black with a thick long mane and tail, Shadow stands 15.0 hands. I brought her out from Kentucky as a late 3yo with very little saddle experience and had her started by a professional for 30 days - then hit the trails with her. Within a few weeks I was able to put dead beginners on her. She is one laid back, nothing bothers me horse! She will go anywhere you ask of her, no matter what level of rider is on her and is always sweet and a delight to handle. She has never shown any bad habits and she s the one I put small children on when they come to visit. Shadow has been a wonderful producer for me. Shadow foaled a beautiful chocolate colt by the infamous Choco Dock in April 2011. As always, she has the most beautiful and well gaited babies!

![]() | RED BUD'S MAHAL
1995 RMHA/KMSHA black mare. I've been calling this mare "Lexington" or "Lexi" for short. I have been looking for a black Ramblin Rex daughter for a couple of years now and am SO pleased to have had the opportunity to buy this wonderful mare. She is a direct daughter of the marvelous stallion, Ramblin Rex by Buddy Roe and out of Heskel Back's April (a Tobe daughter). Her dam is Sandy's Sugar by Dock and a Yankee mare. Lexi is about 15.0 hands, black with two stockings behind and a star connecting to a stripe. She is just the sweetest thing in temperment and this girl can gait!! She comes flying across the pasture in gait and doesn't miss a beat. As a matter of fact, other than flat walking and cantering, I don't think I've seen her do anything but gait!! Lexi has wonderful stocky conformation with a big hip and wonderful neck. Lexi has produced a top quality black colt in 2007 sired by Redbud's Majic. I call him Ramblin Black Magic and he can be seen on the sale page. She produces very strongly gaited foals and now I know why. Lexi has been back on the trail now for a couple of seasons and quickly has become one of my favorite trail mounts. She is sensible, as well as forward and gaits effortlessly. She is very, very fun to ride!

SHE'S A DANDI 3/2003 RMHA mare. Dandi is a gorgeous, stocky 14.3 hand chocolate, white mane and tail mare that I had selected at the RMHA International show in 2006. She is very sweet and has wonderful conformation and natural gait. She has that nice old fashioned stocky rocky conformation with a lovely head and kind eye. Dandi is by a stallion called Pequeno Pedro that is by Pete, by Buddy Roe and Pedro's dam is a Dock mare. On the bottom side, she's by a foundation older mare called June-Bob that is a Johnson's Toby grandaughter. Dandi completed 90 days training with Bev Frost and has been certified to breed with RMHA. She is very well gaited and amazed me how relaxed and wonderful she was on her first few trail rides.....walks out on a loose rein but has a nice forward walk and a wonderful ambling gait. With her wonderful conformation, gait and temperment, she will be one top quality broodmare in the future. Dandi tragically died in a freak pasture accident in November 2007. After only a few wonderful trail rides, it was a hard loss to endure.....she will be in my heart forever and greatly missed.

BEAUTIFUL BONNIE
1991 KMSHA mare. Chestnut/flaxen and 14.3 hands of gaiting machine!!! This mare has a fabulous ground covering walk, slow gait, very fast gait and a sweet canter. She has great endurance and heart and will do anything asked of her, cross anything, scale up and down mountains with amazing surefootedness and is ridden barefoot on all terrain. She comes direct from the hills of eastern Kentucky - a true mountain horse!! She produces wonderful foals in all colors, with even 4 beat gait, beauty and good bone and feet. Bonnie was my first and favorite mountain horse mare I have ever ridden. She could "fly" in gait and was the most honest, sensible horse I've had the pleasure of knowing. She was found to have cancer in her throat and was humanely euthanized in Jan 2006. She was my wonderful little red, gaiting ferrari and it will be hard to fill those horseshoes.
